You had a great soup going until you put it in the blender. I don’t know why people do this with soups. I like chunks of vegetables in my soup (not too big). I can understand blending some of the vegetables to thicken it up a bit, but not all of it.

cooking the vegetables in a broth instead of water can bolster the flavor. hope it helps(i prefer chicken but thats just me)

@starryian007 I think she means an herb as cilantro. Moroccans use a combination or parsley and cilantro A LOT! Not the coriander, the spice. She usually goes through the spices afterward I’m surprised this recipe didn’t have any. Not even cumin or turmeric powder
