Followed this, and ended up with a perfect poached egg first try (first time I’ve ever tried to cook a poached egg). Decided to experiment by adding salt to the water on my second try and, although tasty, it looked a mess. So I think I’ll do without the salt next time! Thanks for the video.

A teaspoon of white vinegar doesn’t hurt, but yes the vortex is essential….I just leave it simmering and it’s ready in 4 minutes. Simples!
