Our downtown plans were rained out, but Faith and Tate were a bit of sunshine!! They invited us above to dinner. I could not have asked for a far more delicious dinner, per usual.

And of course a giant salad. Get this – the cabbage and peppers from the salad had been THOMAS JEFFERSON’S! They came from the Monticello Garden, which Faith picked herself with a friend who functions at Monticello. I’m certain there are bits and pieces of Jefferson’s time transferred from the soil to the veggies. And I ate ‘em!
