what is papad?
@diwanee3 : “sucidal” is the right word but gotta love Aloo Wadis
This dish seems to be like a milder fiery suicidal cousin of Amritsari Wadi Aloo….Looks very interesing and will try…
Excellent nice mountain of papads!!!
Wow, nothing could be more simple.
@MegF142857 : Good advise from gaudetjaja…skip if you can’t find it.
@pinkstar027 : One trip to the local Indian Grocery store can take care of all the issues Central Market and other Whole Food stores also carry a lot of stuff now.
For online, try HerbCo(dot)com
@JaninaM : Chapati, Paratha, Naan or Bajra Roti. Rice would be a good option too.
wow never ever imagined
can you please give some jain or without onion and garlic recipes )
WOW, yes, I would never have imagined a Papad subzi. Very nifty!
What an interesting recipe. I’ve got to try this.
What would you accompany this with?
You two are very stylish in Indian clothes!! Elegant…
Thanks for sharing the recipes!! )
I have to give this a try!
@MegF142857 asafoetida is some kind of strongly aromatic spice used in indian cuisine. if you cannot find it (like me) you can skip it since it’s never used as the crucial flavoring (using too much of it will make your food taste and smell horrible).
You ladies are so fun to watch! Anuja’s karate chop was hilarious!!
I live in Perú… our stores lacks of indian foods… how can I prepare papads at home???
I strive to have no vegetables in the house!
it looks good! but i think its something hard for someone my age to make
