Non of this is new, but goes back for at least 40 years. Food is regulated by the Legislature by laws written by elected official who got funds from the BIG AGRIBUSINESS. ConAGRA, Monsanto, Cargill, ADM are all in favor of these laws and regulation because they want to be the only providers. There are ways to get around it by selling “pet food.” Kitchens serving food to the public have been regulated so that deadly illnesses like eColi or Salmonella are avoided, and lawsuits by victims.
