FitGamer Recipes: Spice Muffins
A spice muffin recipe that’s low on fat, calories and sugar and provides lots of nutrients and fiber! Feel free to chop an apple into the mix to bulk them up more, as they’re fairly small muffins. 1/2 cup all purpose flour 1/2 cup oats 1 teaspoons baking powder 2 teaspoons cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 cup applesauce 2 tbs butter 1/4 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup milk 1 egg, beaten Mix together dry ingredients in medium bowl, mix together wet ingredients in separate bowl (sugar & butter, then egg, then applesauce, then milk). Mix dry and wet ingredients together until just combined, fill into muffin pan (about 1/2 to 3/4 full), bake for 18-24 minutes at 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 celsius).
