This White Chicken Chili kicks regular chili right off the menu. For an even spicier chili, add the jalapeno seeds. It is a creamy and smooth base full of delish, tender chicken and white beans. Serve with low fat sour cream, baked tortilla chips, and lime wedges to mix it up, but it so much better the next day after the flavors have had a chance to combine.
Crepes are one of those very few foods that you can eat for breakfast, dinner or dessert! My sister loves to make crepes and they always turn out so delicious. So one day I watched how she made them and I realized why I thought they tasted so delicious. Butter. She swirls butter – a lot of butter – around in the pan before she pours the batter in. I could never think of them the same again. The good news is that crepes can be very healthy and still delicious.
These whole wheat crepes are the base of practically any kind of meal you want to make. Breakfast? No problem – fill with fruit and yogurt. Dinner? Perfect – fill with chicken and veggies. Dessert? Yum – fill with strawberries and Nutella. Are you drooling yet?
Inflammation is a common response the body has to injury, pain, illness, and stress. If your body has a temporary, acute inflammatory response, it is simply a sign of natural healing.
But inflammation can become problematic when it becomes a chronic, low-level condition. It is like an unattended fire burning away and attacking healthy body tissues. Inflammation is seen at the root of many other diseases, such as diabetes, auto-immune and heart diseases, neurological disorders, and cancer.
Ginataang hipon is probably one of the best foods cooked in coconut milk. Visit www.pinoy-recipes.com for more mouthwatering Pinoy recipe. This is one of my favorite. I just loved the thick sauce from the coconut milk. There is nothing compared to it. Basically, ginataang hipon is just some shrimp boiled in coconut milk, added with some vegetables. It is also best with squash. I just did not have the squash when I made this recipe because it was not available when we went shopping. This Filipino recipe is also very healthy and you can eat this however much you want and without guilt. The only problem with this is that the shrimp is really expensive. We couldn’t even eat this as much as I wanted even when I was still in the Philippines. When I cooked this for Nunnie, he said it was really really good. His only problem with this Pinoy recipe is that I did not take the peel off of the shrimp. That was because in the Philippines, we really do not take off the head and shell of the shrimp. But as you know, Nunnie is just too lazy to take the shell off. So I ended up peeling it for him. It was a little messy, but we, Filipinos, love to eat with our bare hands, so I did not mind. Ginataang hipon is also a very flexible Pinoy recipe. You can even add green chili peppers to add some heat if you want. But I would never do that because the flavor is already perfect for my taste. The only thing I would add if I could is the squash. And that’s it. I am really hoping that you would try …
