How Adina Grigore Sprouted into Success
While studying modern dance at The Ailey School, 2007 graduate Adina Grigore met many people who were working with a Health Coach. Dancers brought up Integrative Nutrition in conversation all the time, and then a long-time interest in nutrition led her to a talk by Joshua Rosenthal. After hearing him speak, she knew that completing the Heath Coach Training Program was the missing piece to her personal training practice.
What Adina expected to get out of the program and what she actually took away after graduating were drastically different. Her training went beyond a solid education with teachings from renowned health professionals. She came away as a new person: a leader and a bold businesswoman with an invincible attitude. She went in as a personal trainer seeking a credible edge, and came out with a thriving natural skincare business. This interview highlights the influence Integrative Nutrition has had on Adina, who lives in Brooklyn, NY, and how her company Sprout Skincare came to be.
Cooking with April Plantillas/ Para Empanadas
Recipe Ingredients Below Hey Divas okay so this is my first cooking video I have had many request to do a cooking tutorial so I finally got around to making one so this is my favorite spanish dish well one of my favorite Spanish Dishes. Very easy to make and great for parties, large gatherings etc 1. Pack of Goya or other brand of Plantillas/ Para Empanadas disc (12 per pack) 2. Boneless chicken breast or ground beef ( or whatever filling you want to put inside) 3. Clean your meat (chicken) 4. If making chicken or steak make sure to cut into small portions. 4 5. Season w/ Sazon liquido/ Sazon, Adobo, season salt, garlic powder (or whatever seasonings you prefer most) 6. let meat you choose marinate for like 30 minutes in seasoning 7. For chicken use only a small amount of oil in frying pan to cook chicken (do not fry chicken do not coat chicken w/ flour) cook chicken to a nice meduim whitish color when middle is cooked chicken should cook for about 8-10 minutes on low -medium heat 8. While chicken is cooking prepare your Disc by using a rolling pin to flaten them out 9. Once chicken/ or meat of your choise is done let cool & then prepare your Disc with them 10. Lay Cheese of your choice onto disc & then layer your meat of choice on top of cheese (do not put to o much meat or your Disc will not close properly) 11. Fold disc in half over fillings. W/ a fork press sides of Disc together leaving forks marks into Disc dough ( it is helpful to have a cup of warm water to dip …
