2012 Olympics Blog Series: Healthy International Cooking for Kids!
![]()
The Olympics for 2012 have finally arrived. The opening ceremonies are tonight, followed by 2 weeks of watching the most talented kids our countries have sent. While the sports are amazing, we thought it would be fun to have an activity to teach your kids about a some of the food kids from the different countries eat.
You can follow along with your kids by printing this passport, and coloring the flag on each page you either learn about or make food from. Print page 1 on dark blue paper, and it will look like a passport, than, print the rest on white, cut in half, and assemble two books from the print outs.

In the meantime, our snack bowls feature some healthy food for enjoying the opening ceremonies! We’ve got:
- Blueberries
- Olives
- Strawberries
- Mangoes
- and Kiwi
